Devon has been interested in computers, web design, video games, movies, music, and other media ever since he can remember. Some of his favorite genres are fantasy and sci-fi.

He's had courses in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Flash. Devon earned a B.S. in New Media Imaging in March, 2009. This degree is essentially computer graphics in modern media. His most recent work experience was at a newspaper, where he had some exposure to the production and distribution of printed media.

Career Goals

Following my current interests, I want to pursue a creative career. The areas of interest I am considering at the moment are:

Game Designer
User-Interface Designer
3d Animator/Texturer
Level Design
Freelance Web Designer
Graphics Designer

I've always been interested in science, medicine, and technology. One of my previous career goals was to be a helicopter pilot, mostly because of the amazing view compared to higher-flying airplanes, and the freedom of movement. I'm interested in various forms of flight from the beginnings of personal jetpacks to current space missions.

Personal Goals

Some of my personal goals:

Contribute to making the best video game ever.
Get my name in the credits of an awesome theatrical film or TV series.
Make (or buy) a real, working, personal jetpack.
Fly around using said jetpack.
Learn to play guitar better.
Learn to make better digital music from scratch.
Learn to draw better.
Learn and master karate.

Work Philosophy

One of the best things I've learned while working various jobs is that you've got to be open-minded and ready to learn all the time. It's necessary to do well at any job. There's always a better way to do things, and I do my best to figure out how.

Well, that's all I'll say about me for now. If you are interested in learning more about me, you might send me an e-mail or check out my main website.
