Bio
Devon has been interested in computers, web design, video games, movies, music, and other media ever since he can remember. Some of his favorite genres are fantasy and sci-fi.
He's had courses learning how to use Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Macromedia Dreamweaver. Devon is still continuing down that route, studying toward a B.S. in New Media Imaging. His most recent experiences have been learning how to prepare a printed portfolio, and how to animate in 3d Studio Max.
And now he feels like he should have written an autobiography, since writting about oneself in the third-person is odd.
Career Goals
Following my current interests, I want to pursue a creative career. The areas of interest I am considering at the moment are:
Game Designer
User-Interface Designer
3d Animator/Texturer
Level Design
Freelance Web Designer
Photographer
Cinematographer/Director
Graphics Designer
(Of course, I also heard that it's possible to get work just sitting at a dam shooting at birds all day to save the fish population - and get paid around $25.00 an hour for it. So that probably wouldn't be so bad either!)
Personal Goals
Some of my personal goals:
Contribute to making the best video game ever.
Get my name in the credits of an awesome theatrical film or TV series.
Make (or buy) a real, working, personal jetpack.
Fly around using said jetpack.
Learn karate.
Learn to play guitar better.
Work Philosophy
One of the best things I've learned while working various jobs is that you've got to be open-minded and ready to learn all the time. It isn't just at school, but it's necessary to do well at any job. There's always a better way to do things, and I do my best to figure out how.
Well, that's all I'll say about me for now. If you are interested in learning more about me, you might send me an e-mail or check out my website.
